Senior Product Manager

The Senior Product Manager, Clinical Finance is a clinical-finance subject matter expert and product leader who creates meaningful value for sponsors, CROs, and sites. Working closely with the Associate Vice President, Product Management, this role helps set product strategy and roadmap direction across Suvoda’s Greenphire Clinical Finance suite, with primary focus on Budgeting & Benchmarking and Site Payments.  The role brings together clinical pricing, investigator grant budgeting, fair market value benchmarking, sponsor/site negotiation, and payment execution. The successful candidate will use direct sponsor-side experience to identify customer needs, shape product priorities, and provide initiative-level direction that helps Product Owners and delivery teams design effective software. The ideal candidate brings deep sponsor-side clinical-finance expertise, hands-on experience implementing technology, and strong software product management experience. Deep industry knowledge is the higher-priority qualification; candidates with less formal product-management experience may be successful with mentorship if they demonstrate sound product judgment, stakeholder leadership, and the ability to translate operational needs into technology solutions. The Senior Product Manager manages and develops Product Owners and partners closely with them throughout discovery and delivery, ensuring they have the customer context, desired outcomes, priorities, and decision support needed to shape effective initiatives and epics.  Responsibilities: <ul> <li> Partner with the Associate Vice President, Product Management, to set and communicate product vision, strategy, roadmap, and priorities for assigned Greenphire Clinical Finance products and capabilities </li> <li> Apply practical knowledge of sponsor-side clinical pricing, budgeting, benchmarking, site contracting, and payment operations to identify high-value opportunities and shape an integrated experience from study planning through payment execution </li> <li> Engage sponsors, CROs, sites, commercial teams, and internal subject matter experts to understand workflow challenges, validatecustomer needs, and define meaningful product outcomes </li> <li> Lead initiative-level discovery by translating customer, business, operational, and market needs into problem statements, desired outcomes, scope boundaries, success measures, dependencies, and prioritized roadmap decisions</li> <li> Manage, coach, and develop Product Owners through clear expectations, goal setting, workload planning, performance feedback, career development, and consistent product practices</li> <li> Partner closely with Product Owners as they shape initiatives and epics, providing customer and market context, roadmap rationale, decision support, timelyanswers, ambiguity resolution, and facilitation of sound trade-off decisions with internal and external stakeholders </li> <li> Recommend product investments to executive leadership using customer evidence, market analysis, business cases, and return-on-investment considerations</li> <li> Collaborate with Product Owners, Engineering, UX, Architecture, Quality, Professional Services, Support, Commercial, Sales, and Marketing to deliver reliable, usable, and scalable software, prepare enhancements for successful launch, and drive effective sales enablement.</li> <li> Participate actively throughout the software development life cycle, from discovery and solution definition through delivery, validation, release, adoption, and continuous improvement</li> <li> Establish success measures and use product data, customer feedback, and operational insight to evaluate outcomes and refine priorities</li> <li> Support customer conversations, demonstrations, implementations, sales opportunities, competitive analysis, and thought leadership as needed</li> </ul> Required qualifications: <ul> <li> Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, work experience, and/or training.</li> <li> Direct experience with clinical trial sponsor budgeting, clinical pricing, investigator grant budgets, budget negotiation, benchmarking, site payment operations, or closely related clinical finance processes.</li> <li> Demonstrated experience implementing, configuring, launching, or operationalizing technology within a pharmaceutical sponsor, biotechnology sponsor, CRO, clinical-trial, or related operational environment.</li> <li> Experience working directly with sponsor study finance, clinical operations, outsourcing, procurement, site management, or comparable clinical-trial stakeholders.</li> <li> Formal product management experience, including managing software or SaaS products through discovery, strategy, roadmap development, prioritization, and delivery in partnership with Engineering.</li> <li> Experience owning or contributing to enterprise clinical-trial software throughout the software development life cycle. </li> <li> Experience implementing or operationalizing Site Payments, a clinical payment platform, or related sponsor-side payment processes.</li> <li> Experience with Budgeting & Benchmarking, fair market value data, site budget development, sponsor/site negotiations, or connected budget-to-payment workflows. </li> <li> Experience lau
