<p>As an Electronics Engineer, you will be a member of our interdisciplinary hardware engineering team, contributing to the design and development of electronics for our next-generation drone platforms. You’ll work on electronic modules such as flight controllers, sensors, and vision systems, supporting PCB development from concept through production.</p> <p>As part of a cross-functional team, you will contribute to advanced systems such as interceptor and reconnaissance drones with integrated visual navigation, as well as quadcopters for defense applications.</p> <h2><strong>Responsibilities and Duties</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Design, prototype, and validate avionics PCBs, sensors, and electronic modules for drone platforms, contributing to designs from initial concepts through detailed design and manufacturing</li> <li>Support PCB and product verification activities, including test planning, execution, and documentation; contribute to electrical and mechanical validation such as EMI/EMC compliance testing, thermal cycling, and mechanical shock testing</li> <li>Create and maintain technical documentation, including design concepts, schematics and CAD drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), assembly instructions, and repair documentation</li> <li>Collaborate with test engineering, manufacturing, and production teams to support the transition of hardware designs from development to production</li> <li>Work with hardware and software engineers to define electronics requirements, system interfaces, and design solutions</li> <li>Support troubleshooting and design improvements based on test results, production feedback, and field performance</li> <li>Contribute to the development and improvement of engineering processes and best practices within the hardware team</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Qualifications and Skills</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering</li> <li>2+ years of experience in PCB design and electronic product development, including prototyping, layout, and testing</li> <li>Good understanding of mixed-signal PCB design, signal integrity, and power integrity principles</li> <li>Hands-on experience with PCB testing and troubleshooting, including basic EMC considerations</li> <li>Experience with Altium Designer is highly desirable</li> <li>Experience with high-power applications, ESCs, and lithium batteries is an advantage</li> <li>Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving</li> <li>Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional hardware/software team</li> <li>Good problem-solving and communication skills, with a willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned tasks</li> <li>CH/EU citizenship required</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Benefits</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Flexible working hours</li> <li>Stock Options</li> <li>Generous holiday allowance</li> <li>Company pension plan&nbsp;</li> <li>Car parking&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li>Enhanced maternity &amp; paternity leave</li> <li>Mental health and wellbeing support</li> </ul> <h2><strong>About Auterion</strong></h2> <p>We are building the leading software platform for AI-powered autonomous systems for enterprise and government customers.
